Lovely paint texture and great colour in this portrait, the artist was also a printmaker and illustrator, born in Keynsham in 1913, studied with Kit Gunton and exhibited at the Clifton Art Club, Bristol. She went on to illustrate various childrens books for many publishers.
Still in its original guilded frame and signed to rear.
