A fine matched male / female pair of 19th Century Black Forest steinbock hanging shelves, beautifully carved from linden wood. Although the term Black Forest has become synonymous with this style of carved wood, most pieces were actually made over in Switzerland but are popular throughtout the area and into Austria.
